The Sheldon Margen Public Health Library, located at 1 University Hall, is open to the public with materials available for on-site use. UC Berkeley faculty, staff, or students with current ID, and anyone with a current UC Berkeley library borrowing card may check materials out from the library.
 
The Sheldon Margen Public Health Library's collection, which includes more than 102,000 volumes and almost 1,100 current serial titles, is particularly strong in all areas of public health, nutrition in health and disease, health administration, epidemiology, toxicology, occupational health, maternal and child health, biostatistics, communicable diseases, community health, and environmental health. The library also collects in the area of international health.
