At the School

The School's faculty, consistently noted as among the leading scholars in their respective fields, comprises 53 tenure-track, 8 emeriti, and nearly 100 non-tenured appointees, including lecturers, adjunct and clinical faculty, who provide teaching and research support. Among the distinctions held by the faculty are 8 Institute of Medicine Memberships, 8 American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellowships, 3 Fulbright Fellowships, and 1 National Academy of Sciences Membership.

Faculty research productivity and relevance to the local community, state, nation and world, reflect the school's overall research objectives of achieving excellence and conducting community-based research, while furthering the goals of health promotion and disease prevention.
