Nurturing lifelong health
With a special emphasis on children, families, and older adults.
Goal: $8 million

Protecting you from environmental disasters and infectious disease
With a special emphasis on early detection and surveillance, community preparation, response and recovery, global climate change, and environmental pollution.
Goal: $2 million


Improving the health care you receive
With a special emphasis on developing a more cost-effective delivery system that rewards quality improvement, provides financial access to care for all Americans, encourages prudent use of technologies that add quality of life and is patient-centered and accountable for results.

Promoting global health for all of us
With a special emphasis on women and children, reproductive health, urban slums, and technology transfer.

Eliminating health disparities
With a special emphasis on understanding factors such as socioeconomic status, race, linguistic barriers, and behavior on health inequities to alleviate the rise of diabetes, cancer, heart and respiratory diseases.
