funding priorities
The school has identified six key areas of support that will shape future instructional and research opportunities.
- The Campaign to Build a New Home for the School
New facilities are critical if the School is to continue to attract and retain top-tier faculty, enroll greater numbers of qualified applicants, and equip them with the skills to meet society's health needs.
- The Campaign for Student Excellence: Educating Tomorrow's Leaders
Support for students in the form of scholarships and fellowships, as well as experiential opportunities and career guidance, will be needed to attract and retain the best students to Berkeley regardless of their financial means.
- The Campaign for Faculty Excellence: Recruiting and Retaining World Class Faculty
In order to increase our faculty size to meet the increased demand for highly skilled public health professionals and address emerging public health challenges, it's imperative that we attract and retain the most outstanding faculty.
- Advancing Scholarly Inquiry: Research and Programs
Investment in a specific initiative, a broad research theme, or one of our centers will lead to breakthroughs that build upon our public health achievements and advance our efforts to improve the health of all people.
- Dean's Campaign Opportunity Fund
This fund provides discretionary support to the dean of the School of Public Health to use where the need is greatest.
- School of Public Health Annual Giving Opportunities
Your annual gift makes a powerful statement about your connection to your alma mater and to your commitment to the public's health.
