  • Environmental and health implications of economic development
  • Health-damaging air pollution in developing countries, particularly from household fuels
  • Co-benefits (warming and ill-health reductions) of greenhouse gas controls
  • Development of robust measures of exposure, risk, and environmental responsibility for policy
  • Integration of health, climate, energy, and development issues into international collaborative scientific assessments
  • Development and deployment of small, smart, fast, and cheap IT-based environmental monitoring devices
