Research Description
Dr. Padian's work bridges the gap between traditional infectious disease epidemiology and the broader context of women's reproductive health. While focusing on HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, Dr. Padian’s research addresses economic development, empowerment, and gender-based violence. In addition, she has expertise in the rigorous design and evaluation of public health interventions.
